TNT N.V. - Buyback of ordinary shares

Publish Date : 24 December 2007 at 08:30 CET - Amsterdam, further to the share buyback program announced on 30 July 2007 and its euro 200 million first tranche execution announced on 9 November 2007, TNT N.V. announces that:

  • on 17 December 2007, it purchased 350,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 28.1742 per share,
  • on 18 December 2007, it purchased 330,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 28.3259 per share,
  • on 19 December 2007, it purchased 260,566 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 28.0056 per share,
  • on 20 December 2007, it purchased 55,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 27.8571 per share,
  • on 21 December 2007, it purchased 146,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 28.0363 per share,
  • during the period from 12 November 2007 until and including 21 December 2007, it purchased 6,848,675 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 27.8293 per share, and
  • the total amount of the share buyback until and including 21 December 2007 therefore amounts to 95.30% of the first euro 200 million tranche.

It is TNT's intention to cancel the repurchased shares.
