TNT to Organise Distribution for FILA Europe

FILA has signed a ten-year contract with TNT Fashion, a TNT Express business unit that specialises in network logistics. Under the contract TNT Fashion will be fully responsible for distributing FILA goods to all European destinations and will be involved in bringing in the finished products from the Far East. In less than three months, TNT delivered a fully operational distribution warehouse to FILA. The new warehouse will replace existing distribution centres of the fast-growing sports brand in Germany, Italy, France and Spain. The ten-year contract worth more than 100 million euros will create new employment opportunities for almost 120 people at a completely newly site.

The new site will use the PKMS warehouse management system of Manhattan Associates. This system guarantees fast order picking of many millions of items each year and satisfies all the agreed quality standards.
