Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods are articles or substances that may pose a significant risk to health, safety or property. Certain pharmaceutical and biomedical shipments may be classified as dangerous goods. For example, medicines can be radioactive or toxic, and blood samples can contain infectious substances.

TNT provides solutions for the transportation of dangerous goods for approved contract customers in the following countries:

Europe:
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

Asia:
Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia.

Only our approved contract customers may transport dangerous goods under strict guidelines. Dangerous goods must be packed, documented, labelled and transported in accordance with all applicable regulations. All such goods are transported by TNT in accordance with IATA regulations. And we employ at least three IATA-trained employees in all our European and Asian depots.
