Packaging for transport of chilled and frozen samples can be expensive. Most central laboratories employ single-use-packaging material. Because packaging material is often sent to the site weeks or months before actual usage, lots of hidden costs may be incurred - including the upfront investment, possible loss of/damage to, material, and the need for considerable storage space.

TNT provides its Medpak Thermo packaging material when and where it's needed. And we take care of the complete management process, including storage, fulfilment, tracking, cleaning, administration, distribution and shipping documentation.

Because we lease the packaging material - rather than sell it - you save money too.

Medpak Thermo is provided with cooling elements (for products that need to be chilled). We provide dry ice and/or gel packs for the transportation of frozen samples.

how does it work?

• The site calls the Health Care Control Centre to order the packaging material and coolants


• TNT fulfils the order and delivers the packaging and related materials, and the shipping documentation, the next working day


• The sample is prepared for return to the central laboratory


• TNT delivers the sample at the laboratory early the next morning
