Selling and Relationship Management
- Promote TNT to existing and prospective customers and at all times reflect and promote TNT in the best possible light
- Maximize revenue opportunities from incoming telephone calls through the effective utilisation of all available resources – offer creative solutions
Complaints management
- Research problem shipment information.
- Liaise with internal departments to find potential solutions that meet the needs of the customer.
Process Management
- Maximise all operational resources to ensure that all collections and deliveries are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner – vendor management (service quality)
Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Division and direct line manager of all figures and other relevant reports and analysis
Adverse Working Conditions
- Irregular Hours
- High demand for creative distribution solutions
- High level of 3rd party dependency – internal and external vendors
Qualifications / Requirements
Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
- High school qualification
- Business to business selling skills
- Communication capability both within peer group and at senior level, globally and locally
- Project management skills
- Basic PC skills
- Fluent use of written and spoken English
- Sales and operational experience in customised distribution solutions
- International express or logistics industry background
- Proven track record of achieving targets and KPI’s
- Organisational awareness (structure and products and services)
- Product knowledge
- Strong market sector knowledge / awareness, including supply chain structures, developments and requirements
- Proven people skills, especially team building, persuasion and influence application
