Please note on Monday, 19 March 2012, TNT Express (TNT) and United Parcel Service (UPS) announced a shared intention to merge operations and create a new leader in the Express Logistics industry.
With complimentary domestic and international footprints and capabilities, we believe this transaction is in the best interest of all our stakeholders. As a combined group, TNT and UPS will be able to offer our customers the broadest domestic and international product range and geographical coverage. In addition, the size and solidity of the combined company will expand our capacity to drive innovation and embed sustainability. All of this will enable us to better support the growth and globalisation of your business and enhance our ability to serve your increasingly complex logistics needs.
We will continue to keep our customers informed of any changes or relevant developments in advance. However, in the meantime, we will continue to operate as two independent companies and our focus will remain on providing our customers with the highest quality of service.
