7 February 2012 - Severe flooding

TNT wishes to notify customers that heavy rainfall and resulting floods continue to impact operations in a number of regions in western Queensland.

Where possible, TNT continues to service areas in and around Roma. However, where high water levels pose a risk, freight will be delayed. At present, TNT is unable to service a number of areas west of Roma, including:

  • Thargomindah
  • Quilpie
  • Aurgathella
  • Blackhall
  • Mitchell
  • Cunnamulla
  • Charleville

Water levels in a number of the above mentioned regions are receding and TNT anticipates a return to normal services within the next 24-48 hours (where possible).

Following mandatory evacuation orders, we are currently unable to service the town of St George and do not anticipate operations will resume prior to Monday, 12 February 2012 (at the earliest).

TNT’s online track and trace system will be updated accordingly so we encourage customers to visit our website for up to date consignment information.

TNT is working around the clock to restore our networks and minimise delays and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers.
