TNT has designed a solution for High-Tech and Healthcare businesses to control the returns process of high-value parts.  This service is especially valuable where companies are trying to protect their intellectual property by ensuring the reverse logistics supply chain in managed effectively.

With TNT’s Asset Recovery solution, all assets are monitored from the time a replacement part is sent to a customer location, to the time a damaged or faulty part is returned to a central location where it is either consigned for repair, or scrapped under a controlled environment.

Recovery Agents

TNT has established dedicated asset recovery centres in both Australia and Malaysia (Penang) that are able to cost-effectively monitor the recovery of assets in any country in the Pacific Region.  These centres are able to utilise TNT’s own domestic and global networks to facilitate the asset movements, or alternatively actively monitor other providers’ services where customers have a range of vendor relationships in place.

Support

KPI Reporting and account management is structured as close to the customer as possible.  Currently TNT undertakes all its support activities for the Asset Recovery service, from its offices in Australia.  This allows personal contact with customers, and cost-effective execution of the operational service for its Australian based customers.

The Asset Recovery service may require integration into our customer’s host system and TNT has extensive local ICS support to facilitate this integration.

Additional Services

TNT also provides a pick, pack and warehouse storage service for spare parts and critical product requiring immediate delivery.  With its Australian network of over 40 locations and globally over 1000 locations, TNT can respond 24 x 7 in a matter of hours to ensure that critical products are delivered on time and to our customer’s service level agreements.
