TNT was named as global 'Supersector leader' for 'Industrial Goods and Services' (including 'Industrial transportation') by the 2009 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI). Moreover, TNT earned the highest score of the over 1,000 listed companies included in the DJSI for the third consecutive year. TNT achieved the highest scores in 12 out of the 16 criteria that make up the index. Areas that achieved a 100% score are Environmental reporting, Climate strategy, Occupational health and safety, Social reporting, Risk and Crisis Management, Code of Conduct and Compliance, Customer Relationship Management, Fuel Efficiency, Human Capital Development, and Talent Attraction and Development.
