Biker Marcus Gaviao is a driving force behind London's leading business-to-business express delivery company - so much so that he has been acclaimed as a driving superstar.
Marcus, 42, topped a competition involving 1,700 other commercial vehicle drivers to win acclaim as the top Two-wheel Driver at the 2009 'Driving Superstars' Awards hosted by TNT Express Services.

Working on behalf of the company's instant response arm - TNT Special Services - Marcus, from Harleyford Road, Vauxhall, clocks up in excess of 48,000 miles a year working out of the company's Vauxhall depot at Enterprise House, Pages Walk.
After two years of sterling service to TNT in and around London, Marcus won recognition at the coveted Awards ceremony after being nominated by his colleagues.
Tracey Goodhew, TNT Contract Courier Manager, said: "It is only in extreme situations that we can fully appreciate why some couriers are true superstars. When London came to a standstill in the snow in February, out of 50 bike couriers, Marcus was one of only four bikers who ventured out to carry on with their runs."
Marcus said: "I love my job - I just try to be as professional as I can and treat all my customers as I would like to be treated. I clock up a lot of miles on my bike, and I just love being out on the road. It's very satisfying when you know you've completed your duties on time and without any problems.
"Winning this award was such a shock, but I'm really proud."
Grant Cochrane, Divisional General Manager, TNT Special Services, said: "This award underlines TNT's commitment to delivering consistently excellence customer service. Couriers play a crucial role, providing the service we promise and acting as ambassadors for the company. Marcus is a credit to TNT.
"It's people of Marcus's calibre that set us apart from other carriers in the same day delivery market."
