ISO 14001 Certification
Within TNT UK & Ireland the environmental management system is externally assessed every year by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). The business unit gained certification to the ISO 14001 Standard at the first attempt in 2007 as official acknowledgement that TNT is making significant strides towards reducing its carbon footprint.
Managing CO2 Performance
TNT's Environmental Management System is the main framework to reduce its environmental impact and increase operating efficiency.
Planet Me Environmental Objectives
Reducing CO2 emissions from the company's fleet and buildings was one of the company's key objectives in 2007/2008.
