European Quality Prizes for Business Excellence - TNT Awards
TNT UK Limited was announced as the winner of the 1998 European Quality Award in Paris by John Roberts CBE President of the European Foundation for Quality Management on October 22.
The company has also competed with organisations from a wide range of industries throughout Europe to win a record number of European Quality Prizes for business excellence in 1995,1996,1997and 1998.

The European Quality Award is presented each year by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) which is an organisation supported by the European Union and many leading companies to promote the concept of business excellence. The EFQM has developed a widely recognised business excellence model that is applicable to all organisations and is helping to raise standards of performance throughout industry and commerce:

Our company is successful because a philosophy of continuous improvement is ingrained throughout the organisation and this approach produces first class results. An eminent panel of judges from EFQM member organisations shortlists finalist companies each year to receive week long site visits from qualified assessors.
