Enchanced Security
TNT is implementing additional procedures, activities and investments to safeguard our customers' shipments whilst in our custody, following recent well publicised incidents involving the international transportation of shipments containing illegal explosive devices. To partially offset the additional costs an Enhanced Security Surcharge will be applied from 13 December 2010.
The surcharge will be levied on all international Express, Economy Express and Special Service shipments, at the rate of €0.05 per kilo*, subject to a minimum of €0.50 and maximum €10.00 per shipment.
