The fuel surcharges

Due to continuing fuel price fluctuations, TNT is implementing an index-based surcharge. Out of Area Surcharge

TNT provides customers with collection and delivery services in remote and less-accessible locations for which an additional "Out of Area" surcharge is applied to recover the additional costs incurred.

Special Handling Surcharge

Freight of a non-standard nature creates special challenges within our networks. To ensure that your shipments are delivered on time and in perfect condition, please familiarise yourself with the types of shipments that require special handling

Non-Electronic Surcharges

A non-electronic surcharge is applied to consignments where data is not electronically submitted, i.e. handwritten consignment notes.  A charge is applied when customers require a paper invoice.

Receiver Pays Surcharge

Customers can select "Invoice to Receiver" on the consignment note to indicate that the invoice is to be sent to the receiver in the local currency.
