It is so easy to calculate online a tariff and transit times for export shipments. After entering the details of a shipment, you will be informed of the transit time and the tariff for the origin country.

To calculate tariffs and transit times online, we need some details about you shipments, like the weight and dimensions. To avoid delays, it is important to enter the correct data, which can be done as follows:

Service for regular customers
If you have a TNT account number, you can easily calculate tariffs and transit times via our PC and internet applications:
- from your work station, within your personalised web environment myTNT or the PC applications ExpressShipper and ExpressManager;
- on the road via your mobile Phone with our ExpressMobile Services;
- by integrating our applications in your IT systems.
Customised calculations
From your work station, you can calculate online tariffs for international export shipments. For other shipments, our Customer Services Desk will work out customised calculations, for:
- import shipments (from another country than Luxembourg);
- shipments to be picked-up and sent on the same day;
- special shipments, such as dangerous goods or shipments with exceptional dimensions.
Fuel surcharge
Due to the continuous fluctuations in fuel prices, TNT applies an indexed fuel surcharge. This is a correct and transparent way to calculate this surcharge, which is based on the London Brent Crude oil spot price. The set price is the price as published by the US Energy Information Administration on www.eia.doe.gov.
The surcharge is applied for all shipments one month after publication. For example: the average fuel price in November is published half December, and is valid for January’s fuel surcharge.
