Globally, TNT partners the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s largest humanitarian agency. Each year, WFP provides food aid to an average of 90 million people, including 56 million hungry children, in more than 80 countries.
Among the initiatives TNT actively supports is the WFP’s global School Feeding Programme, an initiative which encourages school attendance by offering free meals at schools to some of the world’s most vulnerable children. Annually, a fund raising “Walk the World” walk takes place in each TNT office around the world raising millions of euros for the programme.
