Indonesia - Minimum Invoice Value for Spare Part / Fabric / Printed Materials

Please note that shipments containing spare parts, fabric and printed material exported to Indonesia are recommended to have a minimum invoice value as per below:

Spare Parts = USD 20.00/kg

Fabrics = USD 15.00/kg

Printed Material = USD 10.00/kg

Customs clearance for these items lesser than the stated invoice value above may result in detention & value inspection by the Indonesia Customs, resulting in delayed Customs clearance.

TNT’s international service to/from Ukraine Support from our Special Services

18 December 2014 – TNT’s standard international service to/from Ukraine has been disrupted since 15 December due to a delay in receipt of our own national customs brokerage license. We are working hard to return to normal operations as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we offer a range of special services designed to minimise the disruption to your business and help you ship documents, parcels and freight to or from Ukraine.

TNT’s Special Services department continues to ship to Ukraine using different modes, including dedicated vehicles, FTL, LTL, air freight (only door to airport).

These special services can be arranged on a bespoke basis.

TNT Post Office Box Delivery Policy - Reminder to all Countries

Please note that TNT does not deliver from and to address with P.O. Boxes alone. In Middle East, most buildings have some form of physical address, street, suburb or nearest landmark. These should be captured and used as the delivery address (not the P.O. Box alone). A clear contact number (preferably two, land line and mobile) would also be needed.

Consignments to any country other than those listed below must not be transported if the delivery address is a PO Box:

• Bahrain
• Kuwait
• Libya
• Qatar
• Oman
• Saudi Arabia
• Sudan
• Syria
• United Arab Emirates
• Yemen (North and South)

As well as being against TNT policy, consignments shipped with a PO Box delivery address also cause issues for transit and destination countries, an example is the United States. US customs do not allow consignments to be imported, delivered or transit the US if the delivery address is a PO Box. TNT in the US have to obtain the address and update our records before the goods are allowed to travel onward, wherever possible this is done prior to arrival however is not always possible and transit delays are experienced.
