Effective November 1st 2009, TNT will be implementing an “Out of Area” surcharge. The charge will be USD 0.40 per kg with a minimum of USD20 per shipment, whichever is greater.
TNT has offered collection and delivery services in remote and less-accessible locations at no additional charge during the last years. However, due to increasing costs for operation, it is necessary to apply an additional surcharge to recover the costs incurred. The surcharge will apply to shipments collected from or delivered to (or both) a remote and less accessible areas in TNT’s network. Please visit the list of “Out of Area” postcodes on TNT website.
