TNT Express Philippines teaches children how to protect and preserve the environment

Volunteers from TNT Express Philippines, one of the world’s leading express integrators, recently visited children from the Sarnelli Center for Streetchildren Foundation, Inc. located in Baclaran, Paranaque City to teach them about proper waste management and other environment-friendly habits.

Led by Cetin Yalcin, country general manager of TNT Philippines, and TNT’s Environment Management Committee (EMC), the volunteers taught the kids different ways of protecting and preserving the environment through presentations, songs and games. Photo shows some of the kids from Sarnelli Center as they engage in a fun new way of learning about the environment.

This activity forms part of TNT’s Supplemental Learning Program (SLP), a local CSR initiative where TNT employees are given the opportunity to help improve the literary, academic and social skills of the less-fortunate children through activities such as storytelling, informal tutorial classes, and awareness campaigns.
