Tracking and Proof of Delivery
When you send or collect consignments one time or often, tracking the whereabouts and proof of receipt is normally required to have full control of your business.
TNT recommends using a shipping tool that gives you visibility on status and proof of delivery (PoD).
PoD signature images offer proof that your shipment was delivered and signed for by the receiver. Now, you can obtain a Proof of Delivery (PoD) signature image for all your shipments from any of TNT’s shipping tools, such as myTNT and ExpressShipper.

BRAZIL. New Customs procedures – additional costs
1. "Over" Shipments
(received in Brazil without manifest)
New Procedure: Shipments without manifest will be subject to a customs fine of BRL 5.000,00 (approx. USD 2.660,00).
2. High Value (HV) shipments – above USD 3000.00
New procedure: HV shipments will be converted into formal entries, but will be subject to a customs fine of BRL 5.000,00 (approx. USD 2.660,00).
3. Lack of Importer's Tax ID (VAT Number)
New Procedure: Shipments will no longer be returned to origin. TNT Brazil will be able to hold and contact the importer to obtain the Tax ID number. However, a fine of BRL 500,00 (approx. USD 266,00) must be paid with duties and taxes for clearance.
