TNT inaugurates new depot in the Netherlands

22 September 2015 - TNT has inaugurated its new 6,350 square meter depot in Eindhoven, Netherlands, after a ten-month construction period. The new facility already enables TNT to handle more parcels and freight items for customers across north-western Europe, faster and in a more reliable manner. The depot runs daily line hauls to other TNT sorting hubs in Liege, Arnhem, Northampton, Paris and Zurich, as well as direct deliveries to customers. It features 105 loading docks and state-of-the-art sorting and loading equipment. The opening was attended by Staf Depla, the Eindhoven City Councillor responsible for work, economy and professional education. The new depot is housed in a BREEAM certified building.
