Will the customer service numbers change?

When you move from TNT to FedEx, you will use the same customer service number for matters relating to your FedEx Express shipments or account.

How do I open an account with FedEx?

Do I need to inform my customers/receivers about any changes?

We recommend you tell your customers that they will receive packages from FedEx. This is to ensure they expect packages from FedEx rather than TNT. 

 

There will be no change for shipments paid outside the country.

Will cut-off times be affected?

Your cut-off times will be based on the FedEx service available in your area.

Can I use TNT for shipments paid by a TNT customer overseas?

For shipments that will be paid by a TNT customer outside of Afghanistan, the sender will need to contact the TNT office in the origin country.

Can I continue to receive TNT shipments sent from overseas?

Yes, you may continue to receive TNT shipments sent from overseas.

Are there any changes to customs clearance for TNT shipments?

The Global Service Participant will act as customs broker and facilitate the clearance of TNT shipments, and you will receive an invoice from FedEx for the duties, taxes and applicable ancillary fees.

May I track my FedEx and TNT shipments on one or both websites?

There are no immediate changes to the applications you use to track packages. FedEx shipments can be tracked at fedex.com, and TNT consignment tracking is available at tnt.com.
