Peak Surcharge

Due to disruptions in the global supply chain in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, we announced a surcharge on all TNT international parcel and freight shipments beginning April 6, 2020.

We announced a Peak Surcharge (“surcharge”) on all FedEx Express international parcel and freight shipments beginning April 6, 2020.

We implemented this surcharge due to the various COVID-19 containment restrictions issued in countries around the world. Due to continued disruptions in the global supply chain, air cargo capacity remains limited. We are incurring incremental costs as we continue to adjust our international networks to best deliver much-needed goods and services in this constrained environment.

To provide our customers with the best possible service during this time, beginning April 11, 2022, the surcharge amount for TNT parcel shipments will increase.

The surcharge rate per kg will be applied as shown below:

Note: Minimum amount for parcel: $1. Applicable Surcharge amount will be the higher of the per kg rate OR minimum amount. The above mentioned rates are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. The surcharges in other countries remain unchanged.
