TNT Express’ Evening Delivery Service has enabled VELUX, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of windows and blinds, to offer customers a more convenient shopping experience. TNT Express offers a choice of two timed evening delivery slots, and notification of the delivery via SMS message when it is on its way to its destination, making receiving packages outside office hours easier for online customers.

The Evening Delivery service was a key factor in TNT Express winning the overall VELUX contract and formed part of VELUX’s decision to extend its multi-million pound contract with TNT Express to deliver to customers throughout the UK and Europe for the next three years. Since starting the service six months ago, TNT Express has been delivering shipments to the homes of VELUX customers.
