In line with the government’s strategy to target savings in the back office, TNT Express is actively supporting the public sector to find smarter and more efficient ways of working whilst reducing costs.
To show its commitment to address the challenges and issues currently faced by the public sector, TNT Express will be actively participating at the Public Sector Show on Tuesday 30 April at the Business Design Centre, London. The company will be hosting a seminar session, ‘Delivering Value through GPS Frameworks’, in Theatre 2 at 10am, to demonstrate how procuring via the GPS Framework Agreements can help public sector customers meet their objectives.
Alistair Cochrane, Managing Director, TNT Express Services UK & Ireland said: “Being part of the Government Procurement Service (GPS) framework agreement supports the Government’s aim to deliver significant, sustainable cost savings by centralising and standardising procurement spend and also means that TNT has already gone through the tender process.
By using TNT Express, customers benefit from:
- lower cost and greater security by using our dedicated and ad hoc courier services
- efficient business process outsourcing solutions through the use of our records management and document scanning services
- significantly reduced back office operations and streamlined processes
- the ability to focus on their core business
TNT transforms business efficiency through effective document management and related services working for a broad variety of public and private sector customers such as the Department for Work and Pensions, HM Revenue & Customs and high street banks, such as Royal Bank of Scotland.
The presentation will focus on how TNT supports the Government agenda and can demonstrate the benefits we have delivered. By adopting a partnership approach and working closely with these public sector bodies, TNT has developed a solid understanding of the government’s objectives.
To find out how TNT can help your department increase its knowledge of working smarter, delivering efficiencies and make major cost savings through outsourcing, visitors to the show are invited to join TNT’s seminar session or to speak to TNT’s specialist team on Stand 79.
