Temporary Peak Surcharge

Global supply chains have been disrupted due to current market conditions. However, TNT continues to provide service to/from China to the rest of the world as local conditions and restrictions allow.

Flight cancellations of several passenger and cargo airlines is creating a very tight capacity environment for China outbound shipments. Concurrently, the return to normal production activity with the resumption of work in many areas in China is fueling a significant increase in demand for outbound cargo from China. In order to manage the elevated freight demand and limited capacity and to ensure that we maintain high quality service, TNT is implementing a Temporary Peak Surcharge for some customers on outbound shipments from China to Australia and some Asian¹  countries/territories. This surcharge will allow us to make the necessary network adjustments to continue providing our customers with the best possible service during this time of market volatility.
