Bushfires cause service disruption in New South Wales

An emergency warning has been issued for bushfires burning near Newcastle, Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands as extreme weather conditions impact New South Wales.

Due to these bushfires currently being experienced in parts of New South Wales, TNT Express' road and rail linehaul services may be disrupted.

A precautionary ‘Bad Weather’ status will be applied to these consignments at risk of delay.

TNT Express recommends customers take advantage of our Time Critical and Overnight Express Services for more urgent freight movements during this period.

TNT Express is committed to minimising the impact on the service provided to our valued customers, both during the event and as the backlog of road deliveries are cleared. TNT Express is also taking proactive measures to ensure freight is delivered on time by redirecting routes, and in some circumstances, airfreighting consignments at TNT Express’ cost to ensure our customers’ freight is delivered as scheduled.

We will continue to provide you with regular updates via www.tnt.com.au as the situation unfolds. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
