Bushfires cause service disruption in Victoria
An emergency warning has been issued as a result of bushfires burning throughout parts of Victoria as extreme weather conditions continue.
A number of roads are closed as a result of the bushfires, in particular: Princes Freeway, Newborough. Due to these bushfires currently being experienced in parts of Victoria, TNT Express' linehaul services may be disrupted.
A precautionary ‘Bad Weather’ status will be applied to these consignments at risk of delay.
TNT Express recommends customers take advantage of our Time Critical and Overnight Express Services for more urgent freight movements during this period.
TNT Express is committed to minimising the impact on the service provided to our valued customers, both during the event and as the backlog of road deliveries are cleared. TNT Express is also taking proactive measures to ensure freight is delivered on time by redirecting routes, and in some circumstances, airfreighting consignments at TNT Express’ cost to ensure our customers’ freight is delivered as scheduled.
We will continue to provide you with regular updates via www.tnt.com.au as the situation unfolds. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
