We are pleased to inform you that, effective September 1, 2020, the entire business of TNT Express Korea LLC (“TNT Korea”), including its operations and all its assets and liabilities, was automatically transferred to and combined with Federal Express Korea LLC (“FedEx Korea”) on September 1, 2020, upon the completion of the Merger.
As part of this process, TNT Korea is dissolved. For the time being, our product and service portfolios will remain unchanged and there will be no changes to your existing FedEx or TNT account. Your current sales representative, with direct access to the resources of both FedEx Express and TNT, will continuously be on hand to advise and help you access our services
Personal Data Will be Transferred to:
You will be able to use the same existing TNT service in the future, and FedEx Korea will use your personal information to the extent as previously permitted by you and will also protect your personal data in compliance with technical and administrative protection requirements under relevant regulations such as the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc.
If you do not wish to transfer your personal data as a result of the merger, please withdraw your membership or contact us at the contact number below.

However, if you do not wish to transfer your data, you may be restricted from using the TNT services provided by FedEx Korea after the merger. Also, FedEx Korea may retain some of your personal data for a certain period of time in order to comply with applicable provisions under the laws. New data controller
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that, as a result of the above-mentioned transfer upon the completion of the Merger, FedEx Korea will become the new data controller of your personal data. In this respect, starting from September 1, 2020, FedEx Korea will be processing your personal data as data controller. Neither the scope nor the purposes of processing of your personal data will be changed due to this transfer upon the completion of the Merger, thus FedEx Korea will continue to use your personal data for the same purpose for which they were facilitated to TNT Korea. You will be able to exercise your rights related to the processing of your personal data against FedEx Korea at any time via our email address krcsl@fedex.com. Until the effective date of the transfer upon the completion of the Merger, you may continue to exercise the mentioned rights against TNT Korea.

Federal Express Korea LLC (“FEDEX”) and TNT Express Korea LLC (“TNT”) determined in accordance with special resolutions passed at the Extraordinary General Meetings of Members of FEDEX and TNT respectively held on July 27, 2020, that (i) TNT shall merge with and into FEDEX, (ii) FEDEX shall issue 300,887 units of contribution to the member of TNT as a result of the merger, (iii) subsequent to the merger, FEDEX shall assume all of TNT’s assets, liabilities, rights and obligations, and (iv) thereafter, TNT shall be dissolved.
Creditors of FEDEX and TNT are hereby notified to file any objection they may have with respect to the merger with the Principal Office of the respective company within 1 month from the date immediately following the date hereof.
