Go behind the scenes in our operations team. Our Dockhands are committed to sorting our freight and ensuring all shipments move through our depots seamlessly and with care, so that we can deliver on our service promises. Processing our customer’s shipments takes a huge team of operational Dockhands, on the ground tackling and coordinating a high volume of freight to ensure our customers can deliver for their customers.
Skills check: We need team members who are organised, efficient and fast working to make sure freight is being moved at the right time, whilst ensuring a high level of safety. Dockhands must have the physicality to operate in a high volume, manual handling environment. A high performing dockhand will have a customer service mindset, working as part of a team to meet targets on time.
Our operations team is focused on service, security and safety, leveraging the latest technology and building the most efficient and high performing processes we can to deliver customer satisfaction. Supervisors and Team Leaders work hand-in-hand, connecting and coordinating front line staff to move freight between air, road and sea efficiently to achieve the best delivery outcomes for our customers, no matter what delivery service they choose.
Skills Check: We need team members who can lead by example, who can think on their feet, have strong problem solving skills and prioritise in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Effective Team Leaders and Supervisors will need excellent time management and process optimisation skills and experience in leading from the front and motivating teams to help achieve business goals.
Our Customer Care team is always ready to respond to our customers’ enquiries - whether it is a first line enquiry, dedicated support for one of our major customers or an urgent service request, our Customer Care staff is available and ready to provide our customers with the assistance they need.
Skills check: A friendly disposition and excellent problem solving skills are key characteristics of our Customer Care staff members. They have a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, which is crucial when working under pressure.
Sales is all about growing the business to ensure maximum profitability, As a part of our Sales team you will partner with our customers to identify the most suitable freight solutions for their business needs. A prosperous collaboration relies on effective communication, exceptional customer service and in-depth understanding of customer’s operation and freight profile, as well as sound knowledge and understanding of our global operations network.
Skills check: We need go getters who strive to create and build strong relationships with our customers, whether existing or new by selling our number one brand. It is the ability to have a strategic mindset, think creatively and innovatively to support our customer needs, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills, that is the mark of a great salesperson.
Our corporate team comes in many shapes and forms - whether it is partnering with the business to drive strategic planning, ensuring corporate governance and supporting business continuity, , making business decisions that optimise our operations. The corporate team supports the business to deliver on TNT’s service promise, which relies on getting it right - from back end processing all the way to the right technology to ensure our business evolves with the needs of our customers.
