Aviation Transport Security Requirements

The customer:

• is aware that the shipment will be subject to aviation security and clearing procedures (if the shipment travels by air);
• is aware that it is illegal to consign an unauthorized explosive or explosive device;
• verifies that the contents of the shipment do not include an explosive or explosive device;
• verifies that the shipment details are correct;
• will present the shipment with secure, undamaged packaging;
• will ensure that the shipment has not been tampered with;
• will ensure the shipment will be presented to TNT/FedEx by a person who is a representative of the customer;
• will comply with all applicable laws and regulations dealing with aviation transport security in respect of presenting the shipment.
